Bringing Lessons to Life

During my SEA Teacher program at Tapaz Central Elementary School (TCES), I observed various pedagogical methods and approaches used in the learning process. Here are some key aspects I learned about teaching methods, innovations in learning, resources, and assessment systems at the school. Teaching Methods At TCES, teachers use a variety of teaching methods to cater to students' needs, especially in the Grade 2 SSES class where I taught. Some of the methods include: Lecture and Demonstration Teachers explain the material using textbooks and provide examples on the whiteboard or through visual media such as PowerPoint presentations on the LED TV. Activity-Based Learning Students actively participate in interactive activities, such as Q&A sessions, storytelling, or educational games.
